Exhaust help ??????
 

Hi, I have posted about this topic before but not getting much help and I am getting desperate as I do not know what to do. I want to change my Honda factory exhaust for an aftermarket sports can, however my Honda CBR600F sport 2001 is a parallel import and has the O2 Sensor catalytic exhaust. My questions are :

1) Can I simply buy an aftermarket exhaust not yet decided on which one yet without the O2 sensor adaption and catalytic convertor and fit an 02 eliminator and my bike will run the same if not better. If doing this option do I need any other equipment ie power commander etc , will I need to adjust the bike in any way or is it simply remove the exhaust and fit the aftermarket can and o2 eliminator.

or

2) Find an aftermarket exhaust manufacturer to modify the down pipe with the O2 sensor adaption but no catalytic convertor thus doing away with the o2 eliminator. Once again by doing this will this affect the running of the bike in anyway.

I am stuck knowing what;s best I am a complete novice and I am hoping someone out there will have the answer for me or has done this themsselves and point me down the right path, I want to change the exhaust but at the same time do no want to create a list of problems by doing this.
