Exhaust - 05 CBR600 F4i
What's up peoples,
I'm relatively new to the motorcyle world. I recently bought a 05 CBR 600 F4i. It has stock exhaust and I'd like to put an aftermarket bolt/slip on kit on it. I've looked at several sites and was recomended this exhaust by a friend. I'm wondering what you guys think of it, how it sounds, quality, and any other helpful details. Your help is greatly appreciated. http://stores.sportbiketrackgear.com...AF4i%3Aexhaust Which is the best? I hear Two Brothers is great. I'd like to know what sounds the best and is the best quality for the money although there's little difference in price. thanks, infmsRAM |
I have a feeling your going to get a ton of different answers for this question. Everyone is going to say that their exhaust is the best, I'm no exception. I love my D&D but please note that it is LOUD!!!! especially at high RPM. If your not looking for something that will pierce your ears then don't go with them. I hear Two Brothers and Yoshimura are great exhaust, a lot of people like Jardine too. I think the best thing for you to do is to hear the different exhaust in person and find one that you think sounds and looks the best.

Hey man im just going to tell you what most of the other people on here are going to tell use the search engine this question has been answered about 100000000000000000 times but since you asked it i would reccomend a LOR pipe probably the best bang for the buck and it sounds awesome another is hr1 to be honest im ALWAYS one to stay away from what everyone else does.... and everyone has a two bros, yoshi, mircon, aka.... (but thats my personal opinion) best you can do is go to you tube and type in f4i then the exhaust you wanna hear find what you think sounds the best in your own opinion and get it.... simple as that... your only lookin at like 5 hp gain if that with a exhaust... 10-15 if you have a exhaust, intake, and power commander

I've got a full Yoshimura RS3 stainless race exhaust that I will sell you, for about the same price as you're going to pay for a new slip on. Let me know if you're interested.

if he has a full race exhaust that he will sell you for the same price as a slip on i would deffinently look into that..... keep in mind on how much it will lean out your bike though and look into a power commander to help out the leanency <<<---- i think i made that word up |
leniency is the correct spelling

Thanks
Thanks everyone for the replies. Sorry for the redundancy as I'm sure this question has been asked. All I can say is there's lots of us newbies out there seeking answers.
I'll definitely hit up your suggestions. abeer1, I'll definitely consider it. Thanks for the offer. |
I went with the Yoshi RS-3 for my 2005 and like it. The best part is the included removable baffle/silencer so you can tune the sound for quiet or loud. I paid about 265 on ebay.

Two Bros. I have two of em, one on my 600 and one on my 1000RR.

Dave, had you heard Scorpion exhausts? If so how does your Yoshi compare? Do you guys notice a difference too with a full system? And can you buy full systems as one piece (headers and exhaust), or do you have to buy separately.
