EVS BJ22 Ultra Ballistic Jersey thoughts?

Hey guys was thinking about picking up the EVS
BJ22 Ultra Ballistic Jersey, something to wear around during the day time because i live in hawaii and it's usually hot during the day always in the 70s to 80s. Do you think this will be alot cooler compared to my regular armored textile jacket?

it looks real bulky..I would put it on the same boat as a textile jacket when comparing itwith cooling properties

jerseys are meant for dirt riding not street. Always better to sweat than bleed ;)

yeah but the jerseys offer more protection tho cuz theres more padding.

except for key points, the padding isnt whats important for protection, like with leather, you want something to take the abrasion so your skin doesnt. A jersey isnt gonna cut it!

i don't wear leathers tho i live in hawaii it's wayyyyyyyyyy too hott for that.

+1 for a textile/mesh jacket...my warm riding jacket i can actually see thru if i align the two mesh panels together.. feels like i am wearing a t-shirt with confidence of a jacket

Mines makes me sweat like a pig. Isn't the jersey mesh as well?

yes I done said a jersey wouldnt cut it ;)

if you really want protection, its textile or leather jacket n pants, decent over the ankle leather boots, tennis shoes dont cut it either ;), good riding gloves, and of course a good helmet.

mesh is nothing but nylon with pads in it. Does nothing to protect you really (@any real speed anyhow) and it melts, ever had melted nylon stuck to you?
