Enging noise

Enging noise
I have a 03 cbr f4i 600 and it seems to sound airy, kind of like a turbo. I have been noticing a tapping noise that it now seeming to be consistant with the rpms, when i took it to the dealer about a month ago they said it was normal. Any ideas? The bike has 8K miles on it, I havent take this one too the track yet. I belive the cam chain tensioner may be bad also, which could of coarse be causing all this. There is also a random rattle I cannot pinpoint.

RE: Enging noise
Havent had it long yet, only about 6 months orr so and again it is my first honda. I do know I need to tighten my chain well see how that goes tomorrow, Putting on new tires. The bike had 4K miles on it and I have just under 8K now. I bought it to ride it.....
Could timing be off from the CCT?
Possiable bent Valve?
Valve springs?
Ive heard that with th4e F4I's the CCT tends to fail at about 7 or 8K miles and I did notice it starting to have a verry slight rattle. Did check that out and it was the CCT. So to sum it up I have a verry slight rattle from the CCT, An unknown random rattle cant pin point, and a tapping. Some build up on the tip of the pipe, bike does not seem to be burning oil.

RE: Enging noise
The rattle is most likely either the cam chain tensioner from what everyone on here says [I worked at honda dealership in service for 1.5yrs and never had one go bad on anything but one suzuki but it seems to be common] or more likely you have a slightly loose valve. I've had a tiny tick when cold since about 3000miles or so. A valve that loose is something I don't pay attention too and wouldn't even be scared of not tightening during the 16,000 mile check.
