ecu f4i 2005 europe
Hello everyone
my cbr was stolen and luckily was found. unfortunately the thieves destroyed his ecu. now trying to locate a used part, i was wondering maybe i can use one of the other models ecu. the serial number of the f4i Europe 2005 is 38770 mdw g71. i thought trying to use the 2004 ecu which is 38770 mdw d21 or the Australian model 2005 ecu 38770 d41. please help me get my hurricane on the road thx |
Well, I know the 01-06 ecu's here in america all swap. Should be the same over there although there might be a difference between the normal single seat and split seat "sport" models. Doubtfull but its possible.

EU Ecu will be a HISS ecu, you would need matched up keys also along with the ECU. post a pic of the ECU here, also what exactly is happening? do the gauges turn over? does the pump prime?

2005 ecu europe
thanks for the answer
the pump doesn't prime... i know that coding new cheap is necessary. any how that's not the problem, i can code new cheap. i also know that the Australian ecu also have hiss system. the question is weather i can use it instead?
