The only problem in doing that is your going to get a voltage drop across the resistor and then you wont be getting the correct voltage to the headlight, which will cause damage over time.
Best cheap fix is aim your headlight down, It wont be perfect but the best you can do without changing over to projectors.

You don't need any of this resistor and relay crap just aim the housing down to the same level as the low beam and your done.

I haven't looked at the bike that indepth yet, is it easy to do? Simple adjustment teeth or something?

this thread = fail

you cannot have two high, or two low beams, why

simple because the two reflectors are different...

the only way to accomplish this would be to switch to projectors

I have dual low beams... Just reaimed the highbeam and leave it on. Have had it like this for over two months with no issues...
