dual low-beam HID...
i want both my HLs to be low-beam HIDs. I'm going with DDM's HID kit. i searched the forum and may have missed what i am looking for, but can i swap a low beam housing into the high-beam side so i get the correct projection for two low beams?
you need to use a relay and a resistor so that it dims the high beam to the same brightness as the low beam. Then when you hit the high beam switch itll bypass the relay youll still have your highbeam like it is now.
So... the high beam side HID gets more power? I have read nothing anywhere that mentions this. Everything I have found suggests that the only difference is the fact that the high beam side is adjusted to shine futher down the road. I am not saying you are wrong, just wondering if you have a link or something with better info?

I personally would not do this as your lights are not getting the wattage as they were designed for.
But the hi beam bulb is the exact same as the lo beam bulb, and they receive the same power, just the reflectors inside the housings are different.
