Drilling Fairings For Sliders...

Anyone have pictures of their sliders installed in their f4i?

i have the vortex ones and they state that they will fit 99-02 f4i.

I have an 06....

what would be different?

shall i just eye them from other pictures or actually line them up with some play-doh?

call vortex and check. However pucks are universal, the only then that could be different is the bases. I just checked their site and they don't have 2006 listed, however the part number is the same for the bases for 2001 and 2005. I would call them and double check though.

I have an '06 and ordered Vortex sliders off eBay, and they fit just fine. I don't think there is much variation in the mounting from one year to the next. There is a really good write up in this forum on how to install them. I did one side with the imprint method and the other with the laser method. MUCH happier with the laser method. Just be patient and make sure it is lined up perfect. I dont have any pics up with the sliders on yet. I need to do that and will soon.

Here is the link i used: https://cbrforum.com/m_55748/tm.htm

Hope it helps and I will get pics up before too long.

the frame for the new F4i is the same as the earlier F4i so it should be exactly the same
