RE: drag raced for the first time
I ran a 11.6 at 122.I don't remember my 60'. But I did beet a busa!!!!! lol only cause his kickstand switch wasa screwed up and it cut out every time he hit the gas. ButI still won!!![sm=laughat.gif] lol
All racing takes skill. yeah just about anyone can line a bike up and take it through th 1/4 mile. but how many riders can get a good time consistently? with a good reaction time? thats were the skill come in. and just so you guys know..... I have very little of it. lol. but i will one day
Hopefully i can get to hallett and actually learn to drag a knee.

only thing i do diff than most the guys i go with is i shift w/o letting off the gas. sometime it will pull up shifting to 2nd but not much. Just don't exceed you limits. if your not comfortable slipping at 6k slip at 4-5k. treat it as a stop light and improvefrom there.

RE: drag raced for the first time
my first time on the track i ran a 13.1 at 123mph, my 0-60 was 2.9 because i dropped the clutch and stood the bitch straight up in the air, first time ever running at the track, i kinda ***** launched it the rest of the night and the best i ran was a 12.8 but thats just because my 0-60 was always around 2.9..... next time im gonna let it go with alittle more power
