Downshifting

When downshifting, is it ok to not use the clutch? I've done it a couple of times and felt better then using the clutch. I just want to see what your opinions are on this.

PS: I'm a noob please dont set me on fire :icon_look:

It won't destroy your bike if you do it now and then (I do sometimes when I want to sit up after getting off the freeway or something), but it's not recommended to do often. Use the clutch and rev-match as you do.

If they didn't want you to use the clutch, the bike wouldn't have a clutch lever.

if u match the rpms and downshift u wont hear or feel any knock of the gears.
u are suposed to use the clutch but it is not going to hurt, if , i repeat ,IF DONE CORECTLY. truckers do it a lot.
