down and out
i was run over on tues. totalled bike and broke both wrists, left arm and hand in multiple places.
Pics of the bike.
If thats not bad enough some a-hole stole the gauges and part of the headlight assembly and a portion of the wiring harness. the tow company said it was missing before they towed it but i have my doubts.

Sorry to hear that, man. Sounds like you got it pretty good.
Upside is that you're still talking with us, bro.
Here's wishing you a speedy recovery....
WTF is wrong with people?

Glad to hear you're okay and all your body parts are still attached.
Make sure you work with the insurance company to maximize your return. A friend of mine was rear-ended and insurance wanted to total the car, but he was able to take a slight loss from the insurance company, keep the car, and repair it for cheaper than estimated. It'd be nice if you could do something similar and part out the bike.
Were any pictures taken of the crash scene? They would prove that your bike wasn't missing those parts at the time of the accident, and you could take the tow company to small claims court over it.
Hope you heal quickly and get all the ugly bureaucratic mess dealt with smoothly.
