Hummm you ride a bike that cost what? 12 bucks to fill, are you rly that worried about you MPG?

Do the one up, one down and get better at wheelies

Also if you do a lot of commuting, you may want to think twice about the 520. It is a lighter smaller chain that will ware faster then a 525.

Yup I agree with mitch, dont go with 520 if you commute. I have a 520 with -1, +1 and I have gone through 2 chains in one year. They are cheap chains but sucks that you have to take the time to change it when you could be riding.

If you want good mileage, go +1 in the front and -1 in the rear, it will raise your top end and not your rpms.

Yeah I understand about the MPG and in reality its not a big issue. Its just I do more commuting than lesiure rides, however I do quite a bit of good twistie riding also and I want my low end torque. So forget the milage! I have been up to Deals Gap twice already this month and looking to do again soon, hopefully again this week.

also remember that when changing to a 520 conversion most places will not carry it in stock (a retail store) so you will have to order online which usually takes 3-5 business days which can really ruin a week lol trust me i know from experience

I got mine on ebay and it took 7 working days, so thats like almost two weeks. I love mine, I did -1 in the front and my low end torque is incredible

you won't feel much of a difference, if any at all with a 520. i'd opt for 525 and just -1.
