I wasnt sure which one i bought honestly. The dealership told me it was a F4 but what ive seen online makes it look like an F4i. It has the single seat, no lifted passenger seat and its a 2006. I dont know when they stopped making the F4 but i thought from what ive seen it was before then. Let me know if you can tell me based on that info!

 

2006 would be a F4i

 

99-00 = F4 , 01-06 = F4i

Split seat STOCK = 01-03
Single seat STOCK = 99-00, 04-06

 

Alot of people still call them "honda F4's" just because they don't know the differences, but a dealership should've been a little more specific.

The FI light on your cluster should seal the deal.

Doesn't the F4 also have only the one headlight? vs. F4i that has 2

Not to mention the registration decal on the frame, or the fact that F4 has analogue speedo and temperature gauge and a choke lever!
