Default Did some upgrades! Stop fast parts!

Put on some new rotors, sintered pads and stainless brake lines. I can't believe I haven't went with stainless lines sooner than I did. HUGE difference in feel and stopping power.

She's still lookin good and is in way better shape than any other F4i in town. Especially for being an 05' with 37K on the clock.

Did you have to do any grinding to mount your swinger? and how hard is it to adjust preload. Love the mix between the flat and gloss blacks.

Damn your bike looks awesome. I thought my old F4i looked amazing, but I probably would have kept it if it looked like yours. Nice job!

I always love seeing your threads pop up Tugboat. What a beautiful lady you got there.

How did you go about shopping and comparing rotors?

The only thing I had to grind a little bit was the back side of the 600rr caliper bracket to clear the hub. The preload is pretty straight forward on the rear shock.

The whole bike was painted gloss black and the wing on the side was sprayed on. We used the same clear but added 50% flattening agent in the mix.

The front rotors came from sixity.com on a sweet close out deal. They are decent rotors for the price. The rear rotor is just a cheapy off eBay. It's the only one I could find that matched since sixity.com stopped carrying them. But I hardly use the rear brake anyways.

Damn. I just saw a fairing kit on eBay with the same colors. I might try Plasti Dipping my fairings like this.

That's an awesome job on the brakes there. My previous bike had much more stopping power than my f4i and I frequently find myself missing it. I might try a rotor and pad upgrade at some point too.

hmmm good to know, I've got all the parts sitting next to the bike but didn't start the project because I didn't have anything to grind with.
