Default Delkevic upper cowl review

My f4i needed a new upper cowl after 5yrs and 53,000 miles of road and track abuse. Factory cost: $530. After reading several reviews on here about delkevic fitting perfectly I went ahead and purchased one on ebay. 3days later it arrived. Quality is good but not great, my painter had to put some time in to make it ready for painting. $200 later and its a nice pretty blue. So I mount it up to my bike expecting a great fit as said by others on here. Turns out it probably does fit great if you use all delkevic parts. I used my factory plastics and it didn't line up good. Eventually I got everything together without drilling new holes or even modifying the stock ones but I wouldn't call it easy like the stock cowl. All in all for about half the price of a factory replacement Im happy but if I can find a used stock cowl I'll go that route. Just thought some of you might like to know this info in case your looking.
