Does it matter if you have a header, larger mid pipe, high mount,an exhaust that may need fiberglass replaced? There seems like too broad of a spectrum for this to be answered so easy by other people.Go to a bike night every powersports dealer should be able to point you in the direction of one.Or you may be finding yourself spending a sh*t load of money on something you hate.Go on a ride there are plenty starting around May first,at least in Michigan.See how they sound at highway speeds, running all the gears,we all think are exhaust sounds bada** and most if not all do.So try and do your home work and listen for yourself, and with a header and mid pipe dont forget your going to spend money I think as for bolt on's thats where most is spent. So do your self a huge favor and dont take are word for it may be not what your looking for.

I've got a full M4 system on now - the one I have isn't loud, it sounds like a meatier version of stock. I personally like it because it doesn't make a lot of noise down low, but as you rev her out it sounds better and better.

I had a D&D system - if you want loud/obnoxious, get that. Mine is hanging in my basement with a stock system.

The hindle has a nice rasp to it - more like the yosh sound. For me it is a split between the hindle/M4 as they both give the most hp, look good, and sound good.

people have told me my 2Bros makes my bike sound less like a 600 and more like a 1000, which makes me think it's throaty enough. Can be a little loud, though, but they do make the baffle,(which I don't have).
