Default DDM Tuning HID Kit Spacer

I just got the following kit DDM 35W 6000K H7 Dual Motorcycle HID with the relay harness. I was putting in the new bulb which fits nicely but the spacer is too wide to fit into the light housing. I can't get the clamp to close down on the spacer.........

Did anybody else have this problem?? It was late last night and I was tired........ But it seems I need to trim down the outside of the spacer for it fit inside the housing?????

Also where did everyone mount their ballasts........

yo bro the lil tabs that stick off of the spacer just cut off just leave the 2 flat sides on and they will fit just fine i installed mine today and they work great... i also mount the ballasts on the intake tubes just removed the black covers under the handle grips took the lil black box off the intake tube and cover the hole with a piece duct tape the i zip tied and double sticked tape them to the tube and was all good

Yes, you will need to trim the edges of the spacer.

Also, I don't know how long or wide the relay is, but I've been using my DDM kit for a couple of weeks now WITHOUT the relay kit and it's been working flawlessly. Just a heads up for anyone looking to purchase this HID kit in the future.
