Danmoto vs Delkevic
Any F4I guys have opinions on Danmoto or Delkevic? I am looking at the Danmoto Jisu with a dbkiller or the Delkevic 8" with db killer. Any opinions on build quality? overall sound etc is appreciated. The Delkevic comes already set for my California model 02 sensor which is nice. Want something that won't attract ever cop in the neighborhood, but is loud enough I can hear it and has a good sound.
All opinions welcome, unfortunately an Akro , yosh or other setup is WAY out of the price range with the other items needing attention this winter. Both seem to have an ok sound but it is hard to tell on youtube. I just don't want to buy something that will be way loud or of poor quality. hopefully someone here has some info.
Thanks,

I have the 13'' carbon fiber tri-oval Delkevic, this one-
It came with a baffle, though I run it more often then not without it. It is considerably louder without the baffle, but not enough to cause much concern from cops either driving right beside me, or even behind me in town. The build quality for the price is amazingly on par with a premium can(think-Yoshimura CF TRS but without the big red Yoshi logo)-
I'd have included a soundclip, but the bike is currently sitting in the living room in the midst of a valve adjustment.

Danmoto Exhaust
I have a Danmoto exhaust on my 1998F3 I was a bit wary about getting one after reading posts and comments on this forum and other reviews i.e. carbon look fades to a brown goldish color if you live in a high temperature sunny area...I live in S.E. Queensland Australia and it gets hot here, I've had no problems at all with this exhaust. It looks and sounds fantastic and always attracts positive comments. I bought the baffle for the exhaust as well which I installed at the time of fitting....since then I have removed the baffle and love the sound and burble it makes. Conclusion would I buy another Danmoto exhaust or spend bundles of money on a big named brand....I'd buy the Danmoto cost me $138AU for it delivered. Money over went on Goodrich braided brake lines.

I currently have the short version of the slant cut Delkevic. I love it, as it has a nice low rumble when the bike is at idle and low in the RPMs. But once you get on it, it comes alive and you can tell its coming. I have a few shots of sitting and quick revs, and then also a 0-100 vid to show the sound.

I've ran the DanMoto Carbon GP on both of my F4i. It sounds very "generic" if that makes sense (meaning same exhaust note as stock, just much louder). As for the DB killer, I did not notice a difference at all with it in or out; I run without one.
However, I would disagree with people about it not too loud. I do believe it's somewhere near the middle of the spectrum of pipes in terms of sheer volume.
IMO, they are both nice alternatives to name brand slip-ons. I've only heard a VERY short Delkevic pipe on an F3, that being said: Delkevic is more raspy compared to DanMoto.

I have a DanMoto GP pipe on my F4i. I really like it. It was installed by the PO and it would not have been my first choice, in fact when I bought the bike I was planning on installing a different one but it really grew on me. I like the sound of it and the look. It is a little discolored but it doesn't bother me at all. Just makes the bike look like it gets ridden.
