Found this deal on a NEW D.I.D"Standard" 525 chain but it has 110 links. I only need 108 links with my set up. Question 1 -I can cut the extra 2links with a chain breaker right? Question 2 - This is a new D.I.D chain but price is $45 that cannot be right can it? I spent over 90 on a D.I.Dchain for my zuki, granted that was the correct linkage and included the master. I asked the company some questions but they "don't answer tech questions". Seems kind of strange. Whats the thought?

 

Could be a non O-ring chain. Those can be had for cheap. If they won't tell you if it's an O-ring chain, I wouldn't bother.

 

yeah I would never buy from somebody who won't bother to answer a simple question

most chains come in 110 links, you just cut the extra links off

 

Thought I could cut to fit but always bought chains that were ordered specifically for my application. As always thanks for the help!
