I have the chance to pick up a D & D slip on for cheap, but it is off an f4.
Will it fit onto my 01 f4i?

 

im not sure on the fit but if you get it.. .it is awesome. its freakin like nascar when your around 7-9 soooo loud. i would get it if i were you

 

a lot of people dont like D&D because they are soooo loud......but i love loud and i love my D&D

 

The midpipe won't fit on the F4i

The canister is probably the same though....so if you wanted you could buy the exhaust (if it's dirt cheap) & probably reuse the muffler & then call D&D for the correct midpipe for your F4i. You might need the correct muffler hanger/band though too.

I bought a Micron exhaust for my bike, and they gave me a midpipe from an F4 (accidentally) and it was waaaaaaay off. I had to call Micron & order the correct pipe. I ended up selling the exhaust anyways & picked up a Yoshimura instead.

So yeah it's probably just a huge pain in the ***....just buy one that fits the F4i...lol

 

I LOVE my D & D, just be sure to get it properly tuned.

yes it should fit. because its only a slip on. let me tell you i have one on my 02 f4i and the thing is louder than anything ive heard. lots of people dont like em. but if you like loud and you like makin harley dudes feel like crap then get it. it should fit

 

Swoop Up on that, I got a D&D on my F4I. Sounds great in the canyons. Kinda pisses people off too when splittin traffic...

 

Just to prove it won't fit on the F4i.....notice how the F4 end of the header curves up & the F4i header is a little longer....
