Default CW Fender Eliminator Installation

I'm going to install my competition werkes fender eliminator t-row. For those of you that have them, what did you use to cut off the stock fender and how much of a headache is this? What should I watch out for?

I just used a hacksaw blade. Personally, I found the instructions to be severely lacking. If I were you, I'd do a search for the Minus 1 kit. It is practically identical to the CW kit, but the online instuctions show alot more.

I didn't install the CW Fender Eliminator kit, I installed an undertail. But I used a dermal to slice off the tail section. It worked pretty well. If you use a dermal, get a few extra cutters. I broke quite a few by getting impatient and applying too much pressure.

i used a hacksaw blade on mine. . .wasn't too bad. . . .you don't really need instructions for it. . all you really need to do is look at the picture of it and that tells you what angle and exactly where to cut. . .everything else is pretty self explanitory

these aren't the greatest pics but let me see if i can get a couple more at a better angle

You can buy just a handle that hacksaw blades can be screwed into and that works pretty easily. Dont forget to buy some sand paper, though, to clean up the cut after you are done.
