Many thanks for the compliments bud :D Both the yoke bolt and adjusters are from Pro-Bolt. i vote 'yay', almost wouldn't look right with all the other custom pieces but the wheel rim left alone to be bland.

Ok, I've ordered rim tape, so I don't need that. But where did you get those mirrors? I need new ones, and I'm going CF with the candy red and silver color combo. I MUST KNOW!!!!! Thanks

I also thought about going with "CBR F4i" on the rim stripes, in Black, next to the Honda, but then I thought the stripes looked too cluttered. Also, to be a bit different, I placed the "Honda" logo right-side up when at the bottom of the rim, rather than most that I've seen place it right-side up at the top if the rim and up-side down when the logo rotates to the bottom of the rim.

To get a clean and finished look, you'll have to do a little fab work, by removing the long/cheap plastic mounting brackets that come with the mirrors, then you'll have to shave the stalks at the pivoting point a little bit (which if done right, can not be seen, note the pics )with a sharp knife or razor blade to get them to fit the Heavier/metal OEM mounting brackets. You can install them the way they come, but the cheap plastic brackets vibrate the crap out of the mirrors, and they are too big and look out of place when you put them on the F4i. Installing the OEM brackets reduced vibration and well...they look PIMP! lol |
