Default Custom F4i Heel Guards

I got these as a gift for my B-Day and I decided to color match them to the stock CBR F4i logos on the bike.

This is how they come: They were all white...and I thought it was a bit too much white.

So, I painted them:

Here they are on the bike.

Thoughts? I think they look really good. Nice little detail that doesn't overwhelm.

Edit: And that is my new MICHELIN PP 2CT rear tire..Just decided to go through with it at the shop on Friday...I like them so far. I will really like them if I get some good mileage out of them.

Thanks, I really like 'em.

They look like they are made out of 1/4" steel...but I am not sure

I got them on eBay:White F4i Heel Guards

I think they are the same thickness as the stock guards, but they are not as rigid because of their shape...but you would have to hit them really hard to bend them one they are on the bike.

Edit: Also available in RED

Very nice
I especially liked them after the touch up paint!

On a side note, that chain looks dangerously rusty

Looks nice. Hopefully it stays in decent condition. My powder coated heel guards started flaking after less than a season of riding. Can't imagine paint will hold up much better
