custom exhaust

so i ordered the 2bros 10 inch stunt pipe directly from 2 bros, and i was thinking about installing it on the side. i put it on today and it was barely hitting the rear of the fairing, but wasn't touching the swing arm, and the clearance from the ground wasnt any lower then what the peg is. I was wondering if i cut the rear of the fairing would it be that hard to do?

the fairing is barely touching the carbon fiber pipe, so the cutting would be very minimial. i was just wondering if anybody has ever done this before?

IF this is a stupid question sorry guys, but i like doing stuff different then everybody has it, and i think a side pipe would look ba!

thanks, guys!!

Go for the cutting. I wouldn't. Because it's going to be so minute, and always look odd if you ever remove the exhuast. While I'd love a bike with an undertail exhaust, I think mine looks good on the side with the bike.

let me know what you guys think. i haven't cut the fairing yet, but i think it looks pretty sweet

Theres no need to cut, I ran a set up like that and the heat didn't seem to bother the plastic.

you should get one of these...nothing says manly like a rainbow pipe.

Something just doesn't look right...It seems to be pointing in the wrong direction...Maybe if you can change the angle or something....it looks like the pipe is hanging off the bike or something...when you look at an R6, GSXR or the new 1000RR the pipe looks like it should be there...On yours it looks just out of place...I am not trying to put it down just trying to offer some suggestions...I like the idea however there is just something that bugs me about it..Good luck and nice bike man....Cheers...Andy

I 100 percent agree.. something looks off on it maybe cuz it doesnt run perpindicular with the swing arm... as he said maybe try to move the angle of the pipe.. but good idea!!

i was thinking the exact same thing. maybe go to a muffle shop and have them put a slight bend in the midpipe.
