You probably popped you fuse on start-up as the 55W's draw around 9A @ start-up.

i'd say u have a problem. blowing a 10 amp fuse is a masive power draw. if u put in a 15amp fuse, u will be drawing a lot of heat through the wires. run the light and feel for hot wires.
this could be very dangerous for u, i sure dont want to be reading about a bike fire or worse.
please be carful.

I have 55W 6000K on my e36; 35W 6000K on my F4i. I'd say the difference isn't incredible, but noticeable. I just didn't really think i'd need the 55W on my bike and wasn't sure about consequences. the 35W does the job more than fine, 55W if you just want to be as bright as possible.

I have the VOLT Hid kit, 35watt. I love it so far. The projectors don't project the light as well as I would have hoped, but light output helps tremendously. I get off work at 12am, and have like a 20 mile freeway drive home. Really isn't too much, but it definitely makes me feel like I can see way better and can be seen a lot better too. I got the volt basically because of them supposedly being better quality. DDM from my experience of having friends use them isn't exactly one that would make me want to use ddm, just because of the fact that although they have a great warranty, the quality isn't too great.
A lot of people are happy though, seems like more people like them and have no trouble with them than the ones that do.
For the price they are a steal
