Crash Protection suggestions

Hi Guys,
I'm picking up my new to me cbr600fs 2002 on Monday and would like some suggestions for crash bungs, frame sliders, bar ends etc that offer the best protection.
I'd like to not cut the fairings if atall possible, i think the r&g bungs dont require any fairing cutting but im not sure?
Any advice?

It does little damage to the fairings to cut them, just use the saw for a door knob hole. I would just go with the frame sliders that you must cut the fairings for. Not many people on here sway towards a no-cut slider. General consensus is they do not hold up to a crash like the no-cuts that bolt stright on.

I don't think the F4i can go with no cuts. Not with OEM fairings at least.

Oh they make them, but look at the open area they have to go n where they would have to bolt on at and you will see why esp on the F4/i no one suggest them.

I say go with a quality set of cut sliders like Vortex or similar and make sure to stick to derlin pucks regardless of brand.

Barend sliders are what I run on mine n they too are Vortex I think. With the barends it all depends if you need heavy ones to dampen vibrations or not.

They do make cages but 99% of them are design towards stunting n would interfere with ground clearance on tight leans.
