ru serious? like u really think it would make a diff or no?

just look at the two pics.... the 600rr swing arm has almost twice the re-enforcement... removing that piece shouldnt do anything

they even did away with that section on the 09 600rr arms

Iunno dude, do you what you're gonna do. I'm pretty wary.. If the RR swinger has almost twice the reinforcement, maybe it's for a reason...

The pics aren't completely clear. Got any that look from the front a little more?

Also, I'd wonder if they have the same metal.. which could be a factor in the reason for the extra reinforcement? I dunno... just spitballing.

Also, won't that mount you're suggesting drop the height a lot?

I guess the one thing I'm looking at that makes me think that brace is significant is where it is positioned. The positioning there makes me think that maybe the two arms of the swinger are more prone to flexion than the f4i. It looks like the stem between the two "arms" is narrower?? Maybe it has to do with the bigger tire?? I don't even know if that's the case... just brainstorming here...

well the think is only like 1/8 inch thick so idk what it could possibly do... i mean it seriously looks like it was just put there to hide the shock

the stock swing arm as well as the 600rr are just aluminum but they are almost he exact same thickness....

going this way you are actually doing two things 1 eliminating two pieces of metal cutting like 7 pounds and also using the stock f4i bottom mount which is stronger... where as the other way you use a weaker mount
