Coolant change ques....

So i decided to change the coolant on the bike this weekend, and i followed the service manual for the bike. Now, it says to blip the throttle a couple times to remove the air from the system, which i've done. I've kept the rad cover off, as it says in the manual to remove all the air, however, the temp is getting up to 105 degrees celsius and the fan isn't turning on, and the coolant is bubbling and sometimes shooting out the filler neck. Anyone know what's going on??

Could be a stuck thermostat. That or you didn't run it long enough for the thermostat to open. Take the radiator cover off, run the engine until you see the coolant circulating through the system then top it off and your problem should be solved!

The F4i's fan doesn't kick on until 109 degrees C btw.

Yeah thanks guys, for some reason i thought last year the fan was kicking in somewhere just over 100 degrees celsius. If i had waited long enough, i would have found out it turned on around the 107 mark.
