Competition Werkes Fender Eliminator

Trust me I've been browsing older post for about an hour now... My bike desperately in need of removing stock fender. Due to laws in NH and me not being mechanically inclined by any means I might just settle for the Werks kit. Just don't want the hassle of mounting license plate light and what not. What I want to know is there any place I can replace the stock lens covers of the rear turn signals? Any other ideas or suggestions regarding eliminating fender feel free.
Thanks,

The Competition Werkes FE kit reuses the stock plate light. No need to figure out any other solution in that regard. A license plate bracket is included. There are rear signal brackets that attach to the license plate bracket. The ones that come w/ the kit are for your factory signals but you can call CW & request the smaller brackets for smaller aftermarket signals as well.

I have the CW kit on my '01-03 tail. Its high quality & installs exactly as it should. I couldn't be happier w/ it.

GOTCBR, did you go with the stock signals or did you do just that and call them. They say the signal stocks are shorter, that fine with me just would like to replace the orange lens.
Any pics?

Initially, I installed inexpensive aftermarket signals on the smaller brackets, as seen in the pics. They've since been replaced w/ even smaller LED signals.

Yes, I did call CW. The installation instruction sheet was missing from the kit & I needed one. Their customer service was very helpful in emailing PDF instructions. They asked what kind of signals I was going to use & I told them small aftermarket signals. They informed me of their smaller signal brackets that were available. So I purchased them. Although, you could easily fab up your own from angle iron/aluminum or the like. I just liked the fact that CW's were already made up, matched the kit, & were ready to use.

If you want to reuse your stock signals w/ the CW kit, they will look very similar to the ones in my pics, just a little larger.

Here's the pics...

Hope this helps. If you have any other questions, just let me know.

GOTCBR- It looks pretty sick. Definitely helped me out in getting a better visual. I'm gonna get the smaller stocks for signals and try and find a different lens cover. I feel just a bit safer having bigger turn signals, people do not pay any attention as it is.
