Default Cluster Question on 02 f4i

Hi all, So i was enjoying the hell out of the amazing weather here in va yesterday and 5 miles out from my house I looked down to see my cluster looking like an exorcist took it over! The rpm gage was going from top to bottom like when u first tuen the key over. The light was dim, and everything was flashing and it wasn't keeping the correct speed as well. The bike ran strong all the way home no problem. So i'm left to think I need a new sensor somewhere or a new Cluster all together I've done car work but not alot of bike work. First bike so i dont know if its good to ride at all or what. So any input would be helpful.

thanks!

Low voltage would be my guess. Check the charging system first. Regulator/rectifier and stator issues have been known to occur on Hondas.

Check the connection as well, possible you may have a loose wire, especially since you said it ran fine.
