haha i have a solution to ur problem... its what i did to mine.... cut a stainless or aluminum plate to match ur mid pipe.... from here match up your bolt holes with the plate and drill them out.... cut hole in middle big enough for the mid pipe.... take it to a local shop or if you have a tig.... weld the plate to your mid pipe.... use a good liquid gasket on your muffler... slide it on and bolt it up.....

there ya go....

Knickerbacker, if you'd read my original reply you'd understand that I used the top half of the gixxer mid pipe (the part that bolts on (with 4 bolts)) and the lower half of a two bros. mid pipe that came with my bike (but no can). Slipped the two together and used some pig putty to hold the two together (since the to pipes were made from different materials and not weldable to each other) But I still might make a new mid pipe using Zmds' method. (since I wont be riding much for the next few months)
