I would sell the tank. But I'm biased cause I'm looking for a cheap one. Dents, scratches and all. What's your price range though? As far as how much you want to spend on the paint job?

 

thats why im considering just using vinyl to cover up the tank in whatever color change to, I think that would be easier no?

 

I have read really bad reviews on some of those vinyl covers but I don't really know as I have never seen one in real life. (or maybe I have but it looked good)?

 

I just had my friend paint my tank, and it looks killer.

 

the curvature of the tank makes vinyl wrapping a solid piece a bad idea - tons of seams and distortion. the wings on the tank are clear coated over, and would leave a 'texture' outline as well. (same reason good prep work is required on the tank for paint.)
