CCT Question

So I bought a new cct for my F4i and my friend was playing with it and took the key out before it was in. Soo do I need to get a new one or can you back it out again? Thanks

RE: CCT Question

Just stick the key in and wind it all the way to retract the cct lifter and lock it with the key.

This is a great opportunity for you to play with the thing and see how it works! It can be released and rewound many times without any problem.

RE: CCT Question

If you can, tack weld the tip to the shaft....that is the main reason CCTLs tend to make noise....

psss....i can't remember who came up with the welding the tip thing but dude...if you're going to do it make sure that ****e never ever falls off because it goes straight to the motor....

The weld? If it is welded anywhere near correct the weld will be stronger then the lifter itself....so yeah, if you are bad welder, you may want to check your weld and remove all excess to minimize anything falling off...
