The stock cct is hydrolic isn't it?? anyways it cannot be adjusted. I'm not sure what you are adjusting on it but there is nothing that will help unless you get a new one or a manual one. The manual one looks like a long bolt with a nut through it

You are probably talking about the CCTL and not the CCT. The stock one isn't adjustable as stated above. If you have a manual one, you can adjust that but you wouldn't take it off to adjust it either way. I would get a manual or take it to a shop. Just install a new CCTL if it's the rattling you are worried about, although it'st most likely just noise and not anything seirous that needs immediate attention.

ugh...let's not get into the CCTL vs. CCT debate again....(btw..WOT, Sluij, you are 100% right)

bottom line, you ARE talking about the CCTL (no biggie a LOT of people call it a CCT)...but they are not adjustable, they are springloaded...you can rig em to turn them sort of into a manual CCTL, there are posts all over, or you can drop roughly $80 and get the APE manual CCTL...

and also second that the noise won't do any harm, it's just an annoyance so if you can live with it leave it, if not change it to a manual or re-work the OEM CCTL...

I would just spend $60-80 and get a new stock CCTL (don't forget the gasket #5)

+1 Once you take it apart it never goes back together right, I know from experience. Auto OEM CCTLs are the easiest to install (no adjustment necessary).
