cct...? after doing some research i've come to understand that f4i's are infamous for there Cam Chain Tensioner...? Do f4i's have a naturally loud cct...? my bike seems to have a semi- high pitched whine when i'm riding... is that normal for the bike? or is the tensioner out of adjustment... it's coming from the right side of my engine... i just wanted to know if this is common... or is it suppose to be silent if properly adjusted...? I'm not sure if my tensioner is a manual after market tensioner... or if it's the spring loaded oem one... but any and all information regarding the cct would help... Thank you.

 

F4i CCTs tend to become noisy, usually after ~12k mi
This is a sound/vibration issue, not a functional problem
CCT problems in 90% cases manifest as a secondary ticking vibration ONLY between 4.5krpm to 6krpm
There are lots of pics etc around this forum to help you figure out the type of CCT you have
