Default CBRF4i vs. CBR600RR

Sorry if this is a repost, but it is a good article comparing the two bikes pros/cons.

For me, the F4i is the perfect bike. At home on the track, yet comfortable posture options on the street, handles well with ample power on demand and smooth delivery of it across the band.

Enjoy...

i like the F4i much more than the RR as far as riding goes. It's perfect. I've never ridden a bike that I like half as much. I've ridden 05 gsxr 750, 06 gsxr 750, 01 f4i, 02 f4i, 03 R6... By far the F4i is better in every aspect of riding, IMO.

But if you offered to trade me the RR for my f4i straight up, I wouldn't turn you down. The styling is just so bad ***, and that's what makes people want it over the F4i.

The more i ride my F4i, the more i love it.

The more i ride other bikes, the more i love my F4i.

It really is the perfect all around bike.

Pretty much sums it up doesn't it...

On the track the RR wins with stiffer setup, higher peak hp and better brakes. In the real world, the F4i gets the power down more easily, is close to as fast, and is more comfortable (particularily for pillions and shorter riders).

I own a F4 so don't feel so old now.

I know you can put the 929 motor in the 600rr but can you put one on the F4i?

Why in gods name would you want to do that? To make the bike handle worse? or so it overheats all the time?

Why not just get a 929?
