Default cbr f4i 01 Rear / Front stand

Which rear / front stand will work with the cbr f4i. Correct me if i'm wrong there are two types.

I'm mean one that just picks up the rear by the swing arm, second. the stand that picks up the rear by the swing arm spools?
I looked on my bikes swing arm, and i don't see any pre drilled or threaded holes for me to add a spool unless i'm looking at the wrong place.

I'm wanted to mainly get the rear stand to help me with my oil change, so my oil pan can fit under the bike. Thanks again

i'm using the first type you described, spring loaded LP rear stand. Don't have a front.

Take a look at the cyclecat stand (cyclecat.com). A little more $ than most, but one of the nicest stands out there. Come with attachments for both spooled and non-spooled bikes. I love mine!

Pitbull all the way.

CycleCat look nice also. I like the one handed rear stand.

I only use pit-bull myself, they work great and last forever and most importantly they are very stable so i won't have any need to try another stand anytime soon

i had pit-bull weld the tabs for spools on my swingarm though, I just don't like the idea of those pads holding my bike up
also the pit-bull rearstand I bought had both pads and spool hooks so you could use either one just by turning the adjustable attachement around. That way if you buy a bike that has the spool tabs on the swingarm you won't have to buy a new stand

just a thought

my bike came with the LP stands from the PO and
they work fine, for as little as I use them. oil change, chain maintenance,
cleaning the bike.

However, if I were going to buy a set from the start, I would
probably consider spending a little extra $$ and buy something a little beefier

hey woody, how long have you had them? hahhahahhahahhaha...forever eh? hahahahha...
how's the front stand? do you have the new front stand or the conversion one?

i have handy stands works, well, cheap...but as far as the front stand that lifts by the triples...don't do handy, do pit pull...

yeah i didn't mention this before but im acutally 1,000 years old lol

i've got the conversion, its nice to be able to use either configuration and its just as stable as the new stand

since my bike sits on stands 24 hours a day and appx 340 days a year I had to get the good stuff and at this point pit-bull are the best i've seen plus they definitely support riders
