Hi, I'm looking for some advice please:

I think I have a blocked injector on my CBR. There is really shaky acceleration up to 4000rpm, then the bike rides fine.

How easy is it to access the injectors to see their state? Is it a job for a novice?

Can get to injectors after taking off airbox & tank. Follow procedures in manual and be extremely careful of wiring and vacuum hoses. They're crispy with age and rough handling can cause cracks, making matters worse.

Once injectors are out, you can test them pretty easily.


How much petrol did you collect in 10-sec @ 50psi?
What is % variations between injectors ?
