Default CBR 600 F4 repair job little advice needed

hi guys im new to this forum and would like to ask you fellow f4 owners for a little help and advice when it comes to repairs my f4 witch unfortunately was in a bit of an accident over the weekend and now i need to repair it.

ok so my first worry/issue is that my F4 is and 04 plate and the headlights seem to be very different to the headlights on the f4 that seems to be uploaded rather than it being a singular headlight its a split headlight rather like the F4i models. now i need a full fairing set and im confused as to what to buy because i dont want to buy the first f4 fairing kit i see and be lumbered with having to change to the older style headlights. now in this case would it be better for me to do a full switch out too a f4i kit with having (not sure tho) the same style headlights now i understand i would need a new rear subframe is this correct? and isit cost effective to swap out ie. will i need to replace the rear lights or anything else to do this? will my front lights fit the f4i case? its not going to be an easy process for me as this is my first bike and first ever repair job although i can enlist the help of a few friends who have owned and stripped bikes before.

secondly my rear wheel is dented slightly as its come into contact with the kerb is it possible to bend the wheel back or is this far to dangerous and risky? hard o explain the damage but to my self it looks dooable but not sure how this might effect the wheel blance etc. im guessing its and new front wheel job.

any help would be greatly apreciated thanks greatly

Sorry to hear about you mishap.

First off, a 2004 IS an F4i. 1999 was the last year of the F4.

Replace the wheel. You should be able to pick up one in decent shape second hand.
Make sure to look it over carefully. You will probably find some more damage that isn't as obvious as the bent wheel, but will need attention.

Good luck. Post some pics...

(Moved to the F4i section)

The 2004-2006 F4is went back to the same seat and tail style as the 99-00 F4s, Only the 01-03 F4is had a split seat. If the bike is fuel injected then it is an F4i, hence the i standing for injection. The F4i also has an analogue tach and digital speedometer gauge setup.

There is oil behind the cover. If it's cracked, it will leak. As long as you didn't run the engine out of oil, you should be fine. Take a look at the engine case where the cover bolts up. It's fairly common that the engine case can be damaged in a hit hard enough to crack the cover.
