Sweet for the track indeed! and unique!

 

Here are finished pics, this is after it has been sanded and clearcoated. It is SUPER clean. It is sooooo clean, you can see the posters on the wall of my buddies shop reflecting in it!

 

The carbon fiber sheet you used, where do you buy that? btw, you did an incredible job!!!! I am very impressed with the work you did.

Ok, as for the tire, I bet my buddy would let you have it if you could get it home on your motorcycle. Wait, it is probably climbing some crazy crap in Utah on the buggy it belongs too. Oh, and it is half filled with lead. Oh well.

As for where I got the carbon, it is from a fiber glass repair shop. Like for boats and stuff. They sell it by the yard. Not too cheap. $50 a yard, but you could make about 9+ headlights from that. You can obviously get the other fiberglass stuff there too.

As for selling them, I dont think so. Not really worth it. It is about 8 hours of labor at least, not including wait time for stuff to dry. I dont think I would get much more thank $100 for it and that just isn't enough. If I asked like, $175, would anybody pay? I mean, you can get track plastics on ebay for $300. Whateva, I might make one, just cause I have extra material right now, but we will see.
