carbon fiber experiment

Default carbon fiber experiment

no companys out there make a front sprocket cover in carbon fiber,so i took it upon myself to make my own.next is air intake covers

sweet, I covered my ram air tube covers with CF look vinyl. What this set ya back? and the ram air cover??

i dunno about the cougar,but this was pretty easy. the cf was 30 bucks,resin was 15 and vacuum seal bags were 15. rather than pay 200 bucks for the intake covers, i can make my own for 60.i need to go to college,im too smart to be cooking in a restaurant!

problem is a you got wrinkled up plastic bag stuck to ur piece that is not coming out....

could sand it probalby right? then wet sand it for a smooth finish.
