Canyon run photos!

I love California. 80 degrees in Feb and fun canyon runs a few miles from my house!

My form isn't that great, I definitely need to get my head down more, and probably bring my knee up more, any input would be great!

Nice pics. Reminds me of the fast side of Pally.

it looks too me like you may be hanging off the bike a little too much. try to keep one cheek on the seat is the advice I have been given. and i agree about bringing your head down more.

feel free to correct me if im wrong.....

In the third picture you look like you're about to fall off. You need to keep a cheek on the seat. Again, don't know what thread it is. But there are some great videos that you can find about leaning off the bike.

IMO, you should only be off the bike if you need to be. It's a balance thing, so if you aren't killing turns on a track, there's not a huge need.

Those are cool pics! And like you said your form needs work. You need to move your shoulder and your head more off the bike and your ass less. Think of your whole body leaning off the bike at one time in a straight line vs just your ass. With what your doing now it just seems like you're sticking your knee out just to drag a knee. An instructor at a track day told me once you really don't need to have your knee out very far on the corners. It's rather about getting your body off the bike and leaning and once you're leaned over enough your knee will touch. It sounds easier than it is though because trust me my form still needs work too.

I have family in California but I'll take the cheaper living of the midwest where a $100,000 home cost $1,000,000+ in California.

Yeah, you and me both. Supposed to be 35 tomorrow. And remotely sunny, so I'm HOPEFULLY going to be out.

60 degrees is only cold in july.
