I'd also say fuel pressure regulator. I had to replace mine a few days ago. I got lucky and scored a working set of throttle bodies/ fuel rail/ injectors/ TPS for $75!

An easy way to check it is to run it for a few minutes and pull the vacuum (not the one going to the gas tank) line off. If gas comes out it's bad. The diaphragm has been broken.

 

check your battery connections. One of them may be loose.

 

Would you think its the same problem if it pops out of gear around 6k in second?

 

OK so Ive never got the chance to check out my fuel lines or FPR because I had a full tank of gas. Ive noticed that around half a tank my bike performs how its suppose to. It allows me to red line and everything, but as soon as it drops below half or gets filled above half it performs like crap. What could this mean?

 

Fuel is not being regulated properly. Tank level should have nothing to do with performance

Dont know if this was ever solved, but check your spark plugs the insure they are fireing. With 20000 miles it time the change those plugs.
