Can someone look on their stock rearset and tell me if there is a washer between the cotter pin & the rearset on the bottom (where the peg/step attaches)

I still gotta bend the cotter pin, but does it go like this???

 

I just went out and looked at mine. It looks just like that.

Yeah just got them powdercoated black and was putting them back together....thanks again guys
