Sorry to ask you this since it is sort of off topic, but what rattle can paint did you use? I looks really good, and I am going to tell my room mate to do his bike the same color.

Joe Rocket makes a tail bag that is clamshelled to hold an extra helmet.

Yes the subframe hook works fine while riding. Just be careful not to kick it when getting on/off.

Yeah, the subframe hook works while riding but I've never liked it; it just doesn't feel like a good idea to me. I use a backpack or cargo net to carry an extra helmet. I just use a regular backpack because I never go all that far with the extra helmet. If I was going far I would probably use a net or just not worry about it.

Yea id have to say mines a bit scratched up now and ive only used that helmet lock once to transport an extra helmet. Its ok to drop a helmet off, but I wouldn't always use that. Theres nothing to keep the helmet from bouncing around.

Default You could always make someting

If you could make something that would strap to the top of the seat that would avoid the scraches ...LOL its funny cause if you ride around with a extra helmet you asking for chicks to be like ...LET ME RIDE ... ... you could always just let them wear your helmet ... My wife is the only one that gets my extra helmet ...try explaining why there is makeup in YOUR helmet ... I will mess with it when I get time ... seems like you could attach it to the smaller part of seat and then lock it. I am sure the cargo nets are cheap ..... they say the difference between love and lust is Hemet and no helmet ... ha ha
