Called the drag strip and was told I need quite a few items. One of those being a "Snell 2000 or higher helmet". I just went outside and checked my helmet, it says "Snell approved" right below that it says DOT, over to the side it says "CL-14".
Now my question is that I don't see "Snell 2000" or higher written on it. The drag strip explained that Snell approved isn't enough, it must be Snell 2000 or higher....The helmet is only 2 years old, so I'm sure it is drag legal, but how will they confirm that?

 

Lift up the liner inside and look around for a Snell sticker stuck to the styrofoam. Chances are it's a Snell 2005.

 

I had a CL-14 for a bit....yes, look under the liner for a sticker.
Your helmet is Snell M2000 but the track official will want to see the sticker that says it- it should be there.
