cam chain tensiorer (new question)

I just got an F4i from (yellowjacket) and it has a shot cct on it. Now I still have my F3 and it's being sold as basically a project bike. So what I was wondering is can I steal the manual cct off the F3 and use it for the F4i? It looks like they both have the same OEM part number. Just was asking for a second opinion.

you could try swapping them.

thanks for your reply, thats what I am going to do today. I bought the bike after it was stolen and recovered. So it needs a few expensive parts rear rim, headlights, and a few others. Was hoping to save money where I could and get back on the road sooner by using what parts I could from the old F3 just to get it ride-able again for now.

IF the part number is the same then I couldnt see why not. When dealing with cars/trucks and parts are interchangeable they sometimes dont have the same part numbers but still work. Im betting its exactly the same part cause APE doesnt have many different models listed for honda.

Straight from the horses mouth:

CBR ZONE

The part number is the same according to APE (other brands should be the same too).

So, it should work. Just make sure your gasket is okay or get a new gasket.
