Properly maintained they can last 100k+ but for that price you can find much newer ones at least around here you can.

He's high. Way high. Mileage will vary but given that many people are lax about their maint routine, that'd be kinda high. Its not the max mileage a F4i can have. Jury is still out on thirdgenlxi's F4i at 180k and rolling. But that's not the norm.

My F4i had about 5% of that milage (25xx miles) and I paid $4500 for it. I'd pass on that and keep looking. For 3700 you can get a F4i with under 10k miles pretty easily. Under 5k if you look and haggle hard.

DAMN that yellow one for 2800. Makes me go insane I paid almost 1000 more for mine with 9k more miles. but I love her and she runs fine so I don't really mind, in Maine any sportbike is usually expensive.

  • Guy buys a bike.
  • Gets a good scare while learning to ride.
  • Sticks it in the garage and starts piling chit on it.
  • Wife / girlfriend starts spring cleaning.
  • Gives order: Sell that thing!
  • New CL ad goes up

You can take "Wife / girlfriend starts spring cleaning" and replace it with "Wife / girlfriend discovers unplanned pregnancy".

At that point, you can look for his sports car on CL too
