That's in pretty bad shape. cosmetic damage to the farrings is one thing, but when there are scratches to the covers I would be wary of internal damages you can't see. Have you test rode it yet? I would see if the guy would be willing to have a local mechanic safety inspect it for you or do it yourself. Look for any leakage, check fluids, and stuff like that... If you pay him $2,100 how much more is it going to cost you to bring it up to par?

-My two cents-

i am going this weekend to check it out but new fairing would cost $500-800. New engine cover $90. Front Tire $75+ Windshield $70 Turn Signals $50. I think i can talk him down to 1500-1700. Might just have to wait and see if a better deal comes by

It's got a few miles on it but if you can get it for around $1500 or so I would scoop it up. Throw a china body kit on it and call it good. It's only the stator cover that's scraped up some and it doesn't looked like it's mashed in or rubbed all the way through. You should be able to do everything for under $700 bucks. Clean title?

yea the title is clean

If you like projects, it could be doable. HOWEVER, I'd want to have the stator, among other things, checked out by a factory Honda shop.

im going to take it to a shop before i buy it. thanks for the help

I don't think it's that bad...Just cosmetic....500-700$ should fix it if you look for used plastics and get them painted to match the bike. I just picked up an extra front fairing for cheap from a buddy of mine. Has a little crack in it however can be fixed and painted for probably 100$. There are all kinds of deals on ebay and bike forums...good luck
