hey guys, new member here, i am a new rider having ridden mostly dirt bikes. as my first bike looking at an 02 f4i for 4000 w/ penske shocks and two brothers can, or a 03 600rr with no mods for 5000 which is the better deal, i am really interested in the 04, but wondering if this is too much for it. thanks matt

 

WELL I THINK ITS MOSTLY PERSONAL OPINION.I WOULD SAY THE F4I IS BETTER.BUT THE REASON I LIKE THE F4I BETTER IS BECAUSE IT HAS THE TWO SCOOPS IN THE FRONT, THAT LOOK BETTER TO ME THAN THE RR.

 

THE SHOCKS AND CAN WOULD ALMOST SET YOU BACK ABOUT A GRAND ANYWAY.WHCIH ONE HAS LESSER MILES ON IT?

 

the 03 600rr has about 7k and the 02 f4i has 13k, i like the 04 b/c it is yellow and the 600rr is red

 

Is it an 02 or04? Either way, I personally would go with the F4i.

I'D STILL TAKE THE F4I ,EVEN THOUGH IT HAS MORE MILES ON IT. LOOK AT IT THIS WAY AT LEAST YOU HAVE TWO MODS YOU DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUTGETTING FOR THE BIKE.

 

Have you personally seen both? Go check them out sit on both and see what feels better for you, and be sure to make sure both are in good condition and haven't been down.

Keep looking if you got 5k to spend you can get a newer lower mileage F4I with add ons, thats my opinion there are a ton of them and if you are patient your going to find an awesome deal that you just can't pass up on. I almost bought a RR myself but I love my F4I , I wouldnt have it any other way, and it's also my first streetbike all my motorcycle experience has been dirtbikes...but my F4I has wayyy more power than my cr250 did ...just be careful because it is alot different. I still have things to learn and things to improve on but I feel like my dirtbike experience helped immensly. goodluck with your bike hunt
